A native Chinese with over 18 years of international experience working in the life sciences field, Zheng joined Euromedica in 2012, as a Senior Consultant, leading the company’s expansion into the Chinese and Asia Pacific markets.
Prior to joining Euromedica, Zheng had been in executive search for more than 11 years.  He was initially with Korn/Ferry International, as a key member of the life sciences team in London, responsible for execution of senior search assignments, with broad functional expertise, up to board level, across Europe.  He had achieved higher than average placement rates and gained substantial experience through working with a wide range of businesses.  After leaving Korn/Ferry in October 2007, Zheng set up ADVA SERVICES, an independent new business providing comprehensive talent acquisition solutions for international businesses in life sciences, with a particular focus on leadership needs in China and Asia.
Zheng, originally from Beijing, moved to the UK in 1997 for an MBA programme.  Before this, he had a successful career in sales & marketing and market research in the pharmaceuticals/healthcare sector in China.  Prior to his business career, he worked as a scientific researcher in a top toxicology laboratory in Beijing.
Zheng is a native Mandarin speaker, and is fluent in English.  He obtained his first Degree in Medicine from Beijing Medical University in China and an MBA from the CASS Business School of City University in the UK.  He has lived and worked in China for more than 30 years, and has domiciled in the UK for 15 years.
